Delivery + Duties
**Cost, Method, and Shipping of Prints**
All prints ordered on this website are reproductions of original paintings created exclusively by the artists in Zimbabwe. Each painting is limited to a maximum of 40 prints, with each print numbered (e.g., 1/40) and signed by the artist. The prints are carefully rolled and protected with plastic foil to avoid any damage during transport.
Delivery is from Zimbabwe via DHL or a similar courier service. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, with a rate of USD 50 for every 2 kg. Examples of weight estimates are as follows:
- A4: 0.5 kg
- A3: 0.75 kg
- A2: 1.0 kg
We expect most orders to consist of only a few prints. However, if you are interested in ordering a larger quantity, please contact us so we can negotiate better shipping rates with the courier. Additionally, we offer larger print sizes:
- A1: USD 300 (excluding shipping)
- A0: USD 650 (excluding shipping)
The delivery time is approximately 30 days from receipt of payment until the print is handed over to the courier service. In case no delivery occurs, we will refund the amount paid, including bank fees, within 10 days. We are not responsible for any other costs. If the print is lost by the courier, claims must be filed directly with the courier and their insurance.
If the print arrives damaged due to the courier, the courier’s insurance will handle the settlement. If the damage is caused by us, we will refund the payment after receiving an independent report from an international assessor, such as SGS. The costs of the assessor must be agreed upon in advance, and we will cover these costs if the damage is confirmed. In such cases, we reserve the right to request that the damaged print be returned to us at our expense.
This contract is governed by Swiss law, and the place of jurisdiction is Thundorf, Switzerland.
**Taxes:** All taxes and duties are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer is required to pay any applicable taxes or duties as required by their country upon delivery.
